Of greater importance, Sue has years of experience as home Computer Tutor and has learnt how to teach the reluctant, novice, mature or nervous learner how to enjoy using their equipment.
My name is Sue Freeman and I established the Computer Tutor business in 2009 when I realised that there were many many people in the UK who were not able to access computer learning through existing provision.
In 2008, following redundancy from 16 years of full time teaching I was looking for a new, satisfying job which I would find stimulating, challenging and most importantly, enjoyable…in short, I wanted to continue with all the aspects of teaching that makes it such a fulfilling profession.
As a mature person myself computers were not taught when I was at school, but I was lucky to learn the skills through work. Many people haven’t had that opportunity.
Hundreds of people have now been taught by Computer Tutor and have all benefitted from the friendly, flexible approach made possible by Sue drawing on her years of classroom teaching experience.
Computer Tutor has been such a success that the business is being rolled out nationally and franchise opportunities are available all over the UK.
